Pilates – Joseph Pilates developed this form of exercise in the 1900’s. Pilates conditions the entire body emphasizing core strength and stability. Pilates exercises help to correct muscular imbalances and improve posture by focusing on proper body alignment. With our certified instructors, you will gain strength and flexibility while increasing your body awareness. Joseph Pilates believed his exercise system to be a path toward total health for anyone – from the elite athlete to the frail, and aged. Pilates will help you to transform the way your body looks, feels and performs by encouraging easy, graceful movements. You will build full body strength while creating a sleek, toned physique.

Jill Mitchell is a leading fitness professional in Aspen,CO . Jill is certified for personal training by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  In preparing for the NSCA certification, Jill graduated from The National Personal Trainer’s Institute in Denver, Colorado, www.NPTIcolorado.com.   Jill is a Pilates Mat and Apparatus Instructor certified through the Physical Mind Institute based out of New York City.   Graduating from the University of Vermont in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Jill’s passion for outdoor sports has made fitness and wellness a top priority in her life.

Rachel Lupow has been studying and practicing Pilates since 2002.  She has completed over 600 hours of a comprehensive Lotus Pilates certification. Rachel's mission is to share her knowledge and passion of Pilates in an environment where her clients will truly benefit.  Her understanding of Pilates and how it compliments the "Aspen Life Style" will enhance your personal training experience.  Using sports specific training with Pilate techniques will develop and maintain a healthy body and mind.
