Joshua Landis has been a personal trainer in Aspen for the past 8 years. In addition to his B.S. in Health and Wellness, Josh is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist; an ACE certified personal trainer; a certified Olympic Weightlifting Coach; a Certified GyrtonicŪ instructor; and a 3rd degree Black-belt instructor in the traditional Korean martial art known as Soo Bahk Do.Josh was the Head Personal Trainer at The Aspen Club and Spa from 1997-2002. In 2002, Josh founded Altitude Body Performance Center as a personal training facility, a neurological training center, and an educational facility for personal trainers, coaches, and GyrotonicŪ instructors. Josh was a member of the Soo Bahk Do international Demonstration team in 2001, and the American Council on Exercise recognized Josh as one of the top 3 trainers in the country for 2002. Josh and his small group of trainers work with clients of all ages both in our facility, and in private homes. Our specialties include: Injury rehabilitation and prevention, Strength and Conditioning for Sport Performance, Neurological Specific training (under a board certified Neurologist), and the Gyrotonic Expansion SystemŪ.Josh instructs group classes on martial arts, QiGong, GyrokinesisŪ, strength and conditioning, and self-defense, as well as educational courses health and performance topics. Joshua is also a fitness columnist for the Aspen Daily News.
